Odd things happening

The site name is www.safersecurityproducts.com

Sometimes when I update information I go to edit page and then to the editor and make the changes like adding an html script using the html editor. then I click update and return to the text editor and every thing looks OK then when I view the page the information I entered is showing up fro 2 to 4 or 5 times. I have to go back and redo it several times before it actually comes out right.

Then yesterday I I opened the home page with firefox and som of the script is distorted but if you open it in explorer it is fine.

Any idea what would cause the crazy things to happen?

Open notepad

copy and paste your script in notepad

Save as:

Change the bottom line to ALL FILES

newscript.inc

or whatever you want to call it.

Go to your soho page that you want to edit. Instead of the TEXT editor, drag the CUSTOM INCLUDES to the page, chose upload file, find the file you saved on your computer: newscript.inc Then when this completes select the script from the drop down and select ok and it drops your script on the page.

It does this because the editor is javascript and your added code is javascript and they are conflicting.

Whenever adding outside source code in soho its BETTER to do it this way.. allows your customized scripts and codes to run without conflicting with any of the soho files.

First of all thank you for the information you gave me on this post. I tried it and it worked very well. you can see it at:

I am now trying to place another video on the site and doing it the same way it doesn't work on my site but it works fine on angel fire by just copying and pasting the code. Here is the code I am using amd I have saved it as oldscript.inc

You need a space in embed src

It works fine when i preview it from my computer. Soho allows you to embed movies and flash without using custom coding tho..
