I thought up the following work-a-round for the scenario where I want to
use the best of both worlds so to speak. Please let me know if you think this would solve my problem.
I am doing a new website for my customer and have completed several sample pages, etc. I have built these pages in BV. The customer is a
property rental company with listings for both rental and sales. They want to be able to upload an excel table with the current status of inventory.
I know that you cannot upload in BV and I have already completed my
template to be used for their BV site.
Here is what I thought might solve the problem. Please advise if you see any problems to my idea.
1. Main site i.e. www.myrentals.com to be built in Blue Voda
2. add URL www.myrentals.NET to the account and then
build the INVENTORY pages in SohoLaunch
3. Add links from each site back to each other.
4. ofcourse to keep the "look" of both entities similar I would have to
rebuild my template in Soho to match the BV site.
Any forseeable problems??
Thanks for your input!
