adding another payment option

Does anyone know how to add another payment option in the shopping cart option? I would want to add a direct deposit payment option in the payment option. Is there someway to insert this in Check-out.

Also, I would like a message page when they verify there order so they can type in any special messages regarding there order.

Any help would be great!
