    Trading platform

    Hi guys
Does anyone know of a simple "plug-in" software that could enable trading on a site - similar to etsy.com?

I want to incorporate this into my site but have no idea how as i have never seen a shopping cart or other software like it?

    Thanks
    Adam

Not sure what is different about it that you haven't seen elsewhere - except that they require you to sign in? It's a basic shopping cart.

I thought etsy was different in that anyone can be a seller and list items for sale, instead of me just retailing the products?

If this can be adapted from a simple cart then I'll be very happy indeed.

That part is more complicated, yes. Etsy divides it by seller - so that people pay more shipping, etc this way. That can be set up on various carts - just requires more work.

Actually, my art store will be doing something similar soon - but I'm going to be having the artists use any checkout method they want and simply charge them a monthly or annual fee for their hosting. Makes me not have to worry about checkout :)
