    cookies / privacy

    Hi all
I visited my online shop with IE explorer to find the cookie bloked icon (eye with stop sign). When I clicked on it it listed all the images and files on the page. My privacy setting was only on medium. Any ideas why? How to fix this? Please Help!

    Re: cookies / privacy

Hmmm...don't know...could be other security setting on your box, possibly your firewall or antivirus.

      Re: cookies / privacy

      Thanx Brad for reply
I run McAfee security suite I tried turning off different features but it made no difference. On my Internet options/ privacy when I change to accept all cookies I get rid if the warning but even set at low I'm still getting the full list, sytle sheet and all the jpgs. Could it be that I need to change my file permissions or something. Also how do I make a privacy policy that the browser can find?

I can't help with why you're getting that page - but I can on the privacy policy.

Just create a page with your privacy policy on it - and make sure you link to it from your home page. I also believe in linking to it from shopping carts and from info pages (faq's, policies, contact).

          Thanks Beth
I did have a privacy notice on the shop but now I have added a page to the main website.
Regarding the other problem I wonder if it might be to do with the permissions on the images (cmod) should they be 644 ?
