oscommerce datatables

i have been trying to get to grips with soho and after a few misshaps i have decided to try oscommerce. i know in soho you can download the datatables and you can input product rather quickly. is there something similar to this in oscommerce. if so could someone direct me as i cant find it. ive looked in the usual places through ftp and even tried sql on control panel.
