How to add categories to your store in ZenCart
This tutorial will guide you on how to add categories to your store in ZenCart. For the purpose of this guide, we'll presume that you're currently in ZenCart and therefore are viewing the primary display.
Let us learn how to add categories to your store in ZenCart. Select Categories/Products from the Catalog list on the top left of the screen of the ZenCart. Once you have selected Categories/Products, select the New Category button to the left of the screen. Beneath Category Name type a new Category Name. After type your Category Description. Then scroll down and select Save.
A brand new display will open up. It'll make sure the new category has been added. If you need to edit the Category, you can select the green circle with an 'e', which is located under Action towards the right of the screen. This will bring you to Edit Category screen, to modify the description of the category. Then scroll down and select Save.
