    Website gallery

Well, I've put a few photos of my work on the old website. I know I have lots of work to do - , but wanted to see how they would load & look, etc. Comments welcome.

loads nice and speedy for me too ... the photos look great, I just notice a little squishing in the bottom row, nothing serious, but a little different than the top row if you know what i mean .... good job!

Once again, thanks muchly for the feedback. This was pretty much a practice run to see how it all played out. I'll be re-vamping, working on photos, etc.

I've been approached by entitites that are inquiring about advertising (click ads) on my site. Where do I go to learn more about this subject?

Ditto with the above. May be an idea to have only about 4 images across the page? This would give you some extra space to place some pointers & offers down the side of your page. Or an extra menu bar to specials you may have for sale.
On the other part? Google ad sense & Amazon affiliates are very commonly used. Just pop a search in Google. If you do think of placing these ads, check this page out to see what spaces to leave for them on your site. https://www.google.com/adsense/adformats?sourceid=asos&subid=ww-ww-et-resource_box&medium=link

              Chris.
PS. you cant place them on the same page?
              Regards Chris.

I like your site and the colors are balanced.

I have a small suggestion that might improve the
                  appearence even more.

Have someone custom design you a menu list with
REAL buttons to click on instead of bars. Or, insert
a picture of a button on the bar maybe with a texture
                  behind it.
I'm talking about an icon that looks like a real
                  shirt button!

                    Re: Website gallery

Okay, per suggestions from this site and visitors to my website, I've downsized my pages (to 800 width). Made a few changes in design to accomodate new size. Have had suggestions to customize my buttons to depict sewing graphics. But, for right now, I really like the clean look I have. My focus is to make it easy to find what you are looking for w/o too much hoopla.

Input welcome on new page size. I've not seen it on anything but my screen, so don't know how others with smaller screen are viewing it.

                    Thanks.

                    Ellie

You should consider an email Form rather than the unsecured link you now have, just to avoid all the spam and abuse issues. Generally, it's a task that takes some time, but worth the effort. You'll find great info and how-to on this HERE

I'm personally not a fan of Google ad programs (don't we all know!), but I believe your site is perfect for a thought out "reciprocal link" program you can develop yourself. Having complimentary links on your site can produce real benefits, and be the foundation to your site becoming a viable 'resource' and ready for paid ad placements.

I like the simplicity and flow of your site. You did good!
