Hi Dreamlady, your sites neatly laid out. Maybe you need a slogan under your finished logo that says what the site is for. It took me a while to workout the sites purpose. The movie played well but there seems to be a text box lurking over the central picture. And the music, well it made me laugh and i guess i've got it on my site to tickle people, but your site is quite professional and i think midi tinkle music takes that profesional edge away. Now I must go and listen to those tinkles again! BTW thanks for the comments on my site, much appreciated

1st annual journeys happen cruise

seems to be a highlight on this page ... so was wondering why you don't consider linking it directly to the sign up page for this, it took me a while to sort through the directions you gave to find it, maybe just linking it to that page would work better ... also in the directions, you have a couple of words added twice "and then on the on the far right" just some typos ..

anyway going back again ... :)

Me again, ..... I love the music, gets me in the mood to go go go .... and yeah I might just be real tempted by being in the mood to hit the yeah yeah go on the trip button .....

You've got some underlining happening that I keep trying to click, so you should probably take advantage of that and link those to those pages ...

Like Welcome to Our Team's YTB Resource Center ....You have "Right Place at the Right Time" underlined, have that linked to your resource center page ....

I love your colors, blue and the red is striking ... very very nice .....

I see what Mr. Cirrus is referring to about the text box, doesn't really hurt it, not sure if that is supposed to be part of it or not ?? It moves along very quickly which is really really nice ... no lags or delays ... but when it is over, it takes you to fill out the form, that is great, but if I do not want to fill it out, it takes me off the site, should probably have a link back to your home page again ....

It has my interest, what about canadians??

I think you have done a great job!!! It's nice and lively, just as you should be if you are getting to go away!!!!

Thank you all for your comments. Yeah Kate, I would love it, if you could come up with a logo. That would be great!! I'll wait to make any changes mentioned above, to see if I get any more comments. So I'll check back later today, then make changes this evening. Keep the comments coming! Other than the underlines that don't go anywhere (I'll work on that), is everyone finding that all the links work properly?

Nice work Cindy,
-Consider changing the alt text message on your NavBar.
-Perhaps you don't need to rush out for a logo yet, let "Journeys Happen" stand out by itself, a brighter color or white (?) could help.

I have the sound off on my computer - but suggest that you make it very easy for those who don't to turn it off. Lots of people who surf at work can't turn the sound off - and can't be disturbing others with sound. You'll lose lots of people without giving that choice.

On the blurb for the cruise - I couldn't see a price - so clicked to find out more - and still no price. Stopped there. Again, you might lose people who say it's too high, but you'll lose them anyway. You lost me because I still didn't know and didn't want to fill out and give out my information to find out. I find pricing is a very good selling point.

I don't have time to look at it all now, but will come back later.

Love the happy music ..almost got me maraka's out!...:o)..youve done a lovely job the only thing I would have liked is a little more info on what your about and what you do ...I was confused as to what the site was about until I saw your page title, so maybe making that a little more clear for slow people like me would be good...other than that it was easy to read, easy to navigate, nice photo's to ...well done

Wow - those prices are great! Makes me want to go on a cruise - been a long time since I have! But how can the cruise be in Sept 2007 if you have till Oct 2007 to book it? (And I won't do fall cruises in the Carribean).

The titles are good - but you might be able to make them better - the home page could say:
Home Based Travel Agency | Business | Opportunity - Journeys Happen

I'm not sure what some pages are targeted to/for? Like the right place page - is that a business opportunity? If so, the text has to let me know that right away - and the title could be a little clearer, also. Even if it means taking your name out of the title - if it is a business opportunity - maybe:
Travel Agents - Home Based Travel Opportunity

Get rid of the all caps - that's considered rude and shouting on line! Do not use them in titles - and use them sparing to make a point on pages.

I also think some of your pages would look better if you'd get rid of the centered text. I'm very anti centered text on professional sites - except in specific areas where it might work better. Justified is best IF it can be done without the sentences looking bad. Otherwise, standard paragraph.

Are you still working on a logo/design for your name? If you don't know where you're going with that - I think you definitely need to make your name a bit snazzier - if just going with a fancy text - you could try playing around at www.cooltext.com

You've got a great website going - and you just keep making it better.

Oh, one other thing - a couple pages say YTB - and I see by the reverse search tool that people search using it - so if you want people who already know what it means, you need to get it onto the page also in text. And for those of us who might find you through travel and have no clue what YTB is - maybe a blurb explaining it? Just thoughts - as I never heard of it before.

Thanks Beth for all the info. I'm going to work on those tomorrow. A few answers for you now.

Oops....Last date for booking cruise is this Friday Oct 13, 2006, not 2007. However the cruise is Sept 24, 2007. I will be seeing if I can extend the deadline a little, as I have 25 cabins held and have only filled 12, and would like to give it a little more time. That's one of the reason's I obtained such good pricing. I've had a few people tell me they won't do fall in the Carribean and lots of people tell me there's no problem. So I guess, we'll see. I will be booking more group cruises as I go along (not in the fall), so check back, ok?

YTB is the business opportunity, however, their legal department says we can't use their name on our personal websites, unless we forward a copy of our site to their legal department for approval. I haven't done that. However, I can link (as I do in a few places) to my actual YTB travel booking engine. I thought I caught all the times I mentioned them, but I may have missed a few. I will need to check that again.

Again, great ideas and I appreciate it.

Well, there are people who are afraid of tornados and I can live in tornado areas - but I just can't see taking a cruise in the hurricane region during hurricane season - but I know a lot of people don't mind and cruise ships do a great job of staying out of bad weather. I'll keep my eyes out for your future cruises - and good luck filling your seats on this one - as I said - it's a great price. Hope you can extend it a tad - otherwise - hope lots of people see those great rates that don't have my phobia!

This is just a quicky. Just something to have as a base line to see...I had a vision of the J and the H somehow intertwining as a two letter logo type thing, but Im bad with colors and such...

Wow this forum is not made for clear photos...at all...outside of this area these are clear, here they are fuzzy...
