Great job on the navigation, easy site to get around. Your photos are real nice enlarged and no problem opening them, just click and open. You really have alot of ads on your site, holy, I don't think I could keep up, lol .. It's not one of my favorite colors for backgrounds and I am not certain about the mix of green for this and font color choice, just my opinion though.

    Good Job Overall!!

Love the photos on the animals, links work good. Not loving the background color, some of the text color is hard to read. There is a lot going on, not sure what your focus is or if you want one. Are you selling anything or is it great fun?

I agre with the above about the colors, it is a little hard to read for tired eyes. Have you thought about all of your adds on two pages? A little overpowering. Just my thoughts. LOVE THE PHOTOS ! Good luck with your site.

I'm not color blind but, do have a color deficiency, what background and text colors are best?

              Hi,
On your shopping page you have 2 travel prices, on the color maybe a light soft brown? Don't know...lol

                Re: My Rocky Mountain Utopia

I'll admit, I clicked to look at your site last night and clicked off without getting past the home page. Your text is all bundled together and goes on and on - how about dividing it into paragraphs and making it easier to look at and read?

Then I scrolled down and just say a bunch of links to things that weren't at all related (news, astrology, casino games in the Google ads) that completely lost all my interest. If you want to make money on affiliates, you're going to have to bundle them in a way that makes sense and gives people a reason to click on them - not just throwing them all together and hoping people will click.

After scrolling down and seeing that, I would never hang around.

What I did enjoy were the pictures on the top - those are beautiful and what I thought the site would be about. It's not. People who get here thinking they'll find out about CO or your Rocky Mountain home are wrong.

As to the colors - I don't have a problem with the text - but maybe if the background color was lighter it would be easier to read.

BTW, the ads on the 2 interior pages I just looked at were easier to understand and more cohesive.

I think it's vital for you to spend the time on your home page grabbing interest and not losing it the way you have the page laid out. Maybe those ads should be linked to - as well as categorized better into more pages - and the home page could be decluttered.

But I still see say your name has nothing to do with what you want to use the site for - I certainly expected all about the mountains and how grand they are - not an affiliate site of products not at all related to the mountains or Colorado etc etc.

                Just my 2 cents.

Sorry have to agree with all the above. The site is very cluttered, far to many ads and the color scheme was hard to read. I think you are better getting rid of the ads and making it a nice place to visit first, as I was very quick to click off.

Don't like to be negative, but I feel it does need to be changed.

As I go from page to page the heading will be different, I may get two headings saying travel prices or home will move to the games spot. Some times when I mouse over one, it will change to something else.

But your pictures at the top load slowly even on my high speed - are they optimized?

Your NavBar seems to work ok, no changes or scrambling at all. On a few pages it took longer to load, but that would be because you have a lot of images and they are almost all over 160,000 bytes.
As to color consider going white or a light blue/grey. Experiment.
