    Greetings from Polaroid Suzette

    hi there,
just wanted to say hello to every one in the forum. I started making a website with BlueVoda (never thought i could!). But I am happy and proud! ... still there's a long way to go .... F.e. adding a nice guestbook, that would be nice.
I think it's very funny to find a webhosting somewhere in ?? (Texas, i believe?) and I am from Amsterdam Well anyway, it works and I believe also thanks to a so lively community here!
This is my website: www.polaroidsuzette.com. Please feel free have a look at it and let me know what you think of it.
I am also very interested in seeing other people's websites.
So let me know your sites **

Polaroid Suzette: I love your site. Simple and yet sofisticated. Very nice! I look forward to seeing more of your art. And Welcome to Vodaland

Very nice way to express yourself.
I Like your web site. the background is perfect for it. You might want to add to your page titles so each includes a bit more, example Polaroid Suzette - About the Artist.

Yes, titles would be a good idea
there's still a lot to find out.. but i will.

A question for my web visitors:
Does it take long to load my images since they are so big?
Does the rounded square fit in the window without scrolling, also for small screens or laptops?

            thanks,

Your site loads very quickly, on broadband. Dial ups should not have any trouble since your images are not very big. The rounded square fits fine.
Looking forward to the series on Aznavour.

thanks for your nice comments *
meanwhile i have had a look at other sites... like, tea... travels, angels and devils ? do you do all this without knowing programming language? it's incredible!

                  About my Polaroid Suzette:
It started as a little exploration on the relation between words and image.. I made them as single fragments. While working on them i realised i started making a character... it comes from me, but it's not all of me. After showing it to some people they responded to it like she is a cartoon character on adventure And it was a good friend who named it Suzette all the time...
(after the first image " je suis prete, suzette") So that's when i decided to call it Polaroid Suzette... she came to life on a polaroid!
I thought it would be nice telling you this.
I still have to write a small text on my website.

                  Greetings to all of you*
