    Interactive Live Music Site

Hi, I've been working on this idea for a while now. Live video streaming from my Piano Bar on location. The video window is a live feed during performance times which are listed at the top of the page and on the schedule. I'd like some input on this site...it's my first attempt. Most performance times are early evening. Thank You! www.onlinepianobar.com

Interesting, will check back after 4pm when you go live.
    - Are users going to log on and sing, i.e. karaoke style?
-The colors seem a bit loud.
-Consider making your pages a bit smaller, at 1164px, the horizontal scroll is a nuisance.
-There is overlapping at "Online Piano News" the border of the blue box strikesout the date below.
-"Halifax...Holiday Inn and Shark House" appear blurry, almost as if you had enlarged the jpg from a smaller original.
-The photos are ok, some appear out of focus (idem above comment) the others could perhaps do with a lighter tone of the red border.

    Good luck, sounds entertaining.

Hi, only a personal view, but a bit two much going on in the front page for me. Think it want to be a little simpler. You have some nice images on the front page, but most seem out of focus. Maybe use fewer images & use the original sizes as they look fine.

      Good luck.

Thanx Bill....I need this kind of feedback. The major customer base is older, which is why I chose the colors. I would like to tone it down a bit....1st effort, you know. The users can request a song or say hi to family or friends at the piano. There are 2 monitors on the piano for users to see either the video feed or words...whatever I put on there. I haven't seen a site in this format anywhere...so a model isn't available. Two music sites with live feeds, but non-interacive are: www.hogsbreath.com and www.sloppyjoes.com . These are bars in Key West. Thanks again Bill....stay tuned!!

          Hi Mr Piano,

What a fantastic idea! a piano bar for me conjours up a dark smoky romantic scene, I'm a romatic you see :o)....Sorry to say I have to agree with Chris though...your home page is very messy to much going on and the page took an age to load even on my broadband...perhaps put the photo's on a separate page (Gallery) needs to be a bit more organised thats all and maybe a colour theme? ...Hope you dont mind but ive done a little suggestion for you click on the link...may give you some Ideas,

Love the idea i'll be putting you in my favorites :o)

Lincslady....thank you. I can't believe you did that for me before I got home from the Piano Bar. Ladyeye and some friends logged on while I was performing. We had a great time. I appreciate your effort and will use your input. I'm quite overwhelmed by learning this technology. The hardware I have to carry around and the software to make it work is definitely a challenge. Haven't had so much fun in my life, though. Please log on while I'm performing and say hi...request a song....watch the antics...it's a gas. Thanks again...I owe you a song!! ...Kenyon

It's an awesome spot for sure, live interaction, and the good news is within a month it will be live two ways, (there's a better name for that, lol) Kenyon will tell us, lol - but certainly a fun site.

Linda, that's an awesome looking template you made there, love the colors .... and agree with you and everyone about the gallery for photos.

Got to be better there than here. I work in the loft room & the way the wind is blowing at the moment, I might end up at the bar via free flight.

Forgot to say...heres a little tip that someone gave me when I first started building.

When youve done the template for your home page to your satisfaction.

Keep your home page up and open a blank page for your new page.
You can clone it to, though I dont like using that, I like to copy n paste,
in BV there is a copy button next to the scissors icon (2 little pages) click on what you want to copy then click that icon, go to your blank page then click the paste icon next to it (little yellow file) and it will put what youve copied in the exact same place as it is on your home page on your blank page..handy little tool that...:o)

Lyncslady.......you are the best. Love your work. I saved the buttons, but have trouble putting text on them. I saved them to the nav bar folder....then to ude do i click on "button" or "image button"? Then how do you put text on? That's why I used those ****py buttons. I used a photo program to layer text, then saved it. Probably a long way around...but it worked. Now I want to do it right. Please let me know. Thanks a million!!
