    Re: 1st. website

Hi PJ... You have a good start there. The first thing is to center your web pages... it makes it look better and easier to read. Your pictures are too big... it took a while for everything to download and I never have this problem. There is a pixresizer that you can download here at BV that will help with that.

      Excellent craftmanship.
Lot of work went into your web site, some tweaking is needed.
In addition to what Dori has said:
-Title your pages appropriately. Example Hunting knives by.... rather than index.
-Pricing on NavBar needs work, a bit confusing.
-The gallery is fine except there are no prices.
-Some of the links steer users away from your site.
-News and ...." on first page is hanging, almost like you cut the page off.

Off to a great start, a little more centering but you will get there. My son collect knives.

Thanks for the complements, help and suggestions! I have made some changes, centered in browser, resize pics for faster loading, click on email/contact links to email. Check it out it all seems to work pretty good!
            Thanks, PJ CAREY

              PJ,
Have some bad news for you.
-Your website actually takes longer to load than before.
-Your Home page still reads "index"
-NavBar links taking a lot of time to connect.
-Pricing is rather confusing. Users might like to match an image to the price.

                Re: 1st. website

I really like the site (live in austin - local preference included :)).

                Loaded quick for me.

I think pricing with the blades would be helpful

Also - because I am really picky - I would look at the alignment of your pages. When you click from page to page, the heading and content shifts from left to right.

                Best of luck

                  Re: 1st. website

Ok, I changed the title on my pages, realigned everything. I like the pricing the way it is for now. It loads fast on my PC, better now that everything is aligned.
Thanks for all the help you guys!!!
