    Re: Ready To Go Live

Hi, all you links seem to be ok. I can only assume your pages have been named wrongly before publishing Have you named your page (Lets say?) about us, all in lower case & with no extensions like html or php, as BV will do this automatically.

    Using target="_top"

target="_top" within a link tag causes the new page to load in the full body of the window, which is useful if you ever want to break out of the frameset you have created and have a frameless page.

    Using target="_parent"

target="_parent" is similar to target="_top" but will refer to the immediate parent of a frame. In more advanced frame usage there may be several nested frames and this allows more control over which frames are specified. (It's actually something developers rarely need to use).

    Using target="_blank"

target="_blank" causes the link to open in a totally new browser window, leaving the page with the referring link still open behind it.

    Using target="_self"

target="_self" loads the page within the same frame as the link tag. (Normal use)

In BV if you just want the page to change to the next one that someone clicks on. Just leave the field empty.
    Regards Chris.

Thanks Chris for your help, I'm not really sure whats wrong, I made a few minor changes and pages are still coming up blank with an error stating: The webpage cannot be found" I checked the properties, everything seems to be fine.

Hi, I also assume that you are using the BV publish button & are publishing to public_html/ & not another directory.?? Plus your are publishing each page that you have made?
          Regards Chris.

            Re: Ready To Go Live

            Pull up your 'housechurch' page
re-save it and make sure it is saved as housechurch (no extention) all lowercase as one word.
open up the page you just saved, select the publish button at the top.
The box should come up with your login, the file should have
public_html/housechurch shown. Again, don't put an extention on it,
or . or anything on the end. Select 'publish'.
You should get 'publish successful' message . Do You get that?

Next, check the 'properties' of your button.
              It should have: http://www.upperroommin.com/housechurch.html
              shown as the url.

It looks like the button is navigating to the right place, but the
page is not there so it appears to be a publishing issue.

The only thing you should show when you publish is
              public_html/housechurch

I think your pages may not be located in public_html folder.
If you go into tools, ftpmanager, you can log in , select the public_html
folder and you should see each page there listed.

                HI,

I just want to thank everyone so much for all the tips, I found the problem, I had to go into each text and type in the names with all the words close together in lower case letters just like you said, I saved then and publish again. Ok we are almost there, the Contact us and thank you text is the only two that I am having a problem with, it is a form text so I may have done something wrong there. other then that I'm good to go, Helpppp, ( - :
