    Music On The Website

    I am very new to all this, can anyone help me how to have music background on my website, i have tried windows media player but people have to download everytime they browse my webpage, is there any other way where the music can just automatically play through out the browsing? Please help me!!!!!

    From what I know (unless anyone else knows better!) you should compress your audio into mp3 format and goto your page properties and insert it in that way (in the page background dialogue somewhere and click loop forever.

      Thanks for the info ;) How do i compress, is there any special software or something, i am sorry if it sounds stupid but i am really an it-illiterate person ;)

        No worrys,

        If you have windows XP the easiest program to compress a song for beginners would be windows movie maker. Just load your song into the audio track and click File/Save movie file. Pick a location to save it to and then select the size you want the file to be (high quality audio 96Kbps would probably be the best). Then click next, and your song will be compressed.
