In your hompage page properties change the title from "index" coz when it shows up in peoples browsers it is a bit unproffesional.

Black backgrounds can be hard to get right but I actually think yours works.

For me the buttons are a bit iffy but that is quite minor.

I really like the depth of the site (gallerys, information).

Overall I really really like it! :)

Hi you’re off to a good start. Couple of problems to have a look at.
The white circles are over the text in this page. http://www.tic.org.za/about_us.html

On your staff page the images load quite well as they are only about 15-20 KB each.
But on some of the work in progress pages there is too many KB’s & its really bogging the pages down on loading times.

I'm also in South Africa and new at this.
Still my two cents worth.

I would use the lightbox to enlarge pictures from your gallery. Looks very slick.

Hi, unless you do some major reducing of your images, I wouldn’t recommend the light box. This is for use with the occasional image & not for a photo gallery.
This page is well over 2meg http://www.tic.org.za/9_houses.html & takes a long time to load. With a little work, you can get this page down to about 300kb instead of the 2355kb. But would have to use something besides the light box. A lot of the other pages where you have used images are similar.
