Is website ready for search engine submission

I need a review of my website to see if it is ready for search engine submission
I consider the index page complete
but will be adding pages later to the navagation bar
I just need to learn about search engine submission I think?
I make golf ball displays at this time but plan on adding different products later

    Hey Bynum

Great website, golf is one of my favourite passtimes.

Your site will automatically be spidered over time regardless if you submit it to search engines.

When choosing key words they should relate to what people will search for. ie Golf ball display cabinet, golf ball display, display golf balls, etc

These keywords should also feature in the content on your pages.

So I think you could use more keywords and a little bit more content featuring these keywords.

When putting your meta tags in use a comma to seperate them ie: golf ball, display cabinet, collectors golf ball

      Thanks for the advice
to get maximum exposure shouldn't I submit to search engines or just wait for the spidering

Re: Is website ready for search engine submission

Hi, like the style & feel of the site. Good tip from Phil. Couple of other things that may help. Some of your pages are a bit slow loading for 1st time visitors. Need to reduce the images. Had a look at them & most could be halved & more with no loss in quality. If this was done! It would also be worth renaming them from
        25%20walnut%20480x565.jpg to golf_display_cabinet_in_walnut.
The SE,s treat images just the same as key words & titles. I often seach by google images myself.
If you need help with the images? Just shout.

        Good luck.
        Regards Chris.

            Hi,

youn are off to a great start ... something I notice is there is a lot of jumping around on you pages ... what I mean is the menu bars, headers and other basic elements are in different places on different pages. Also I think all your pages are different widths ... it is good to keep all this uniform as it gives it a finished, professional look.

            good luck with it

              Thanks whitesheperd
I wondered about the different templates, maybe I will just use one throughout the website and make pages the same width
              Great advice
