  • Comments welcome - new site

Just put this site www.theemeraldbay.com together for a condominium association on a fantastic island in South Florida.
    Target audience: the property/unit owners.
Still have to tie a few loose ends.

    Appreciate your comments.
    Thanks all.

    Hi Bill,

Nice Hat..lol. I like the site simple but effective. all links seem to work fine and loading fine on IE. I did notice that the ocean village at the top right has an overlap ..like two images pasted together. That's all.

Bee pointed out the "overlap" in the header (I imagine you built it as an image/background maybe 1200 wide??).

Speaking about working yet on the logo......ever think to use the Logomaker as Text Only with a transparent background with the green image pulled in tight to use as both a logo and within the header are for greater definition?

A nice clean site, functional (although I would suggest at least using even the simple contact form mentioned in Forms Tutorial #1 rather than depend on the Outlook action of "mailto:"), and crisply laid out.

I know the purpose, but shouldn't there be a bit more descriptive content, something to chew on from any perspective? Just wondering....

Great Site, Sir! Do I get a cigar now?

Hi Bill, nice easy/clean site to follow.
Will have my usual whinge on the images! lol. 10080Kg is a bit large for just the 6 images on the front page.

                  Good luck.
                  Regards Chris.

I think he did use an oversized image to mimic a background, Chris.....that's why is appears that way when you do your analyticals on images.....

Vasili and Chris: The background is a template and part of a photo I took last month. I changed the Contact page to a more "formal" look and I'll be working on the logo next, finally received a B&W copy.
