making me blush you do :)
Good to hear it is loading well then, for me it is still slow, but it's more important for others to see it the proper way, and yes, lets hope it will be successful.

    Thank you very much,

      Hi Karin,

Maybe something like: "We sell Only Authentic Native Goods, fashioned by the indigenous peoples of..." and list some or all of the countries represented. I personally would not have "thriving to " in the sentence, it says to me that you aren't, but are trying.

Keep on pluggin' away, it will be great!

        WAUW!!
That's sounds brilliant :), sometimes I do struggle with the correct wording of it all.
My brain is overloaded with the combination of Dutch, UK-English & American English, and as I am 100% Dutch, but live & think in English it becomes very confusing at times.( my mom doesn't even understand me at times, lol)
So, a GREAT BIG thank you your way for putting me in the right (wording) direction, I really, really, appreciate it!!!

I'll let you know when I've updated some of the things :)

        Thanks again, Karin

I just updated my homepage only and going to work on the rest and see what I can do.

aka. Native American Indians = USA

Any thoughts on this for me??, any are welcome :)
Opens a big conversation (on having a single catch-all terminology to deal with a global reference) ..... I keep getting phrases and text strings floating through my mind, but none of them are rather useful because they apply to a single continent or a "type" of peoples.

When I morph the concept out further from the narrower perspective, words like indigenous, original, local/regional, traditional, etc. all seem to be teeming on the surface churning up more froth than anything useful! LOL

It might be more helpful to craft a textual concept around the intimations of "authentic" / "genuine" / "hand-crafted" / "traditional" / "individual," and the like. See what I mean? By presenting everything along the overall perspective of being "true" rather than simply an assortment or comtemporary collection, you may be better able to convey the same impression and pique interest in the same manner museums and even galleries do: focus on the (detailed and duocumented) uniqueness and highlight on your singular offer of accessibility/availability....underscored with your credible resourcefulness?

Maybe a change of a banner might do the trick visually where words fail?

(Just ideas here, so) Like maybe Earth in the background with silhouettes of different recognizable figures (American Indian, aborigine, eskimo, etc.) to somehow suggest "earth natives"??? Something along that idea makes it easier to present more of a 'cosmopolitan' idea of an answer to the question "native what?" >> Earth Native, native to earth

Or just a lineup of silhouettes? I dunno....tis a brain tease to be sure....now I can't get free of the collage/kaleidescope rut that my mind fell into.....

                    LOL ;)
Sorry for throwing you in a whirlwind of thoughts there Vasili :)
But yes, it is a concept hard to describe in just a single word or phrase.]
I did however update my front page a bit with the help of mwalsh, hopefully wording it a bit better.
I will try to use your helpfull words/phrases as well though, probable use them in my metetags and page discription.
Still on a thinkting trip myself too, lol, so I hope you don't mind me joining you in your kaleidescope rut.... ;)
Thanks for your help, word and banner wise.

Hi, your sites coming on well & got some nice things for sale. The only thing i found strange is that a lot of your thumbnails images are actually larger in KB's the the larger pop up it self.??
IE: Thumbnail http://www.nativetreasures.co.uk/tn_...mmy_Singer.png is 40KB & the larger image
                      http://www.nativetreasures.co.uk/221...mmy_Singer.jpg is only 27Kb
This is on quite a few images.
The pages still load quite well, but would be even faster with a little change. The ping images that you are using are a very good type of image to reduce down to 3 or 4 kb without loosing any quality.
                      Regards Chris.

                        Hi Chris,

Those are one and the same pic though? If I was to reduce the size of the main one, wouldn't that change the pop-up too??

and, can I reduce them with the pixresizer from bluevoda? or do I have to this with another program? (only other I have is the basic paint)

Thanks for your feedback and help Chris, I really appreciate it :)

Me again, I just checked the properties of those particular pictures. (on what the sizes are) but it tells me that they are the same size as the thumbnail??????
Am I missing something here? how can they be bigger in size on my site, while they are the same size as my harddrive???
                          I'm confusseled? ? ? ?

With just a pop up or the BV gallery?.

Could that be it? maybe the other 13kb is because of the gallery?

Whats worth a quick look is to see that you have ticked the "Generate Thumbnail Images" in the gallery properties area.
