Yes thank you I worked yesterday on downsizing pics, I deleted the guestbook entries couple questions:
1 I deleted the html in the cpanel & re uploaded but the guestbook error is still present.
2 after I deleted the guestbook ,saved it ,then re-opened it then uploaded to cpanel the last picture has a "double" or one offset over the other I even deleted that pic completly, saved, then opened it again, then saved to cpanel & the pic is still messed up? I got to confused & Quit yesterday. help ? thanks Dale

      Re: Is this site online?

If you are using Blue Voda, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to be messing around with HTML pages, going about your cPanel, or any other process other than to systematically re-publish using BV as it was intended -- as you were instructed by the Tutorials and what is re-inforced throughout these forums.

Once you resolve this logistical failure (I recall you using BV, so as far as I am concerned, it is an extraordinary lapse), you can then resolve your issues readily. I am sure once this is clarified, the others will then be able to help you snap up your layout and other lesser tasks much easier and more productively.

This is where I beg off......

ty for your reply deleting in the cpanel was a last resort it still did not clear up the posting of a new updated page it STILL posts the old page I did as follows
1 subtracted all the things I wanted to from the page
        2 saved back to file
        3 reopened bv
        4 reposted the page
        5 problem still exists
        6 pulled a few hairs
7 deleted the html in cpanel
8 reopened the bv prog & uploaded the corrected page
9 open online page...problem still exists....?
(the address book in the back of the header )
        ok now what? ty Dale

          Dale-
This has to be something fairly simple..Let's take it from the top.
What exactly are the steps you go through when you publish your page?

                  upload it where?
                  You should just be
                  1. creating it in the bv sitebuilder
                  2. saving it
                  3. publishing it.

It will automatically be saved in your BV folder.

Are you doing anything differently than this and only this?

I think, what we have here, is a failure to communicate. Either you are not hearing the others, or visa-versa.

Just to humor, you might try once more, letting go of any preconceived notions you may have:

                      Only:
                      Create
                      Save
                      Publish

Don't allow C-panel, upload, or any of these other unnecessary (at this juncture) terms enter your head. After you perform these steps, and only these steps, everyone here will be on the same page. If the problem persists, the people here can properly diagnose, and take you to the next step. They are very good at this, but only if everyone is properly understanding each other.

If you are 100% certain that all the others are wrong, wait for your ticket response. Though I warn you, there is a chance they may direct you right back here!

Top O' The Morning To You!

I hope you understand that I was not trying to be condescending, I am relatively new also, and have had all problems brought to this forum resolved in this forum. I have also at times not made myself clear in my inquiries, which can lead to confusion, which is what this thread appeared to be rife with.

I have faith that your problems will be figured out, and if nothing else, think of it as a learning experience, which is never a bad thing!

                          Good luck to you,

Yes I look at life as a learning experience. having ADHD, pathways are a problem boucing back & forth can leave one frazeled for sure. I have to step away from things for a bit, shake it out & continue, I learn from mistakes anyways......

I am still trying to figure out why the bv construction page has a pic on it that I deleted ? I deleted the pic, saved, opened, published, & the pc is still there? grrrr lol

Are you sure you do not have 2 pages, copies, maybe similarly named, that the pic is still on. Perhaps your link is to the wrong page?

I went back & deleted the pic, saved, then published & one pic still was there & still is it is the last pick on the bottom right.
