Re: let me know
To my eyes the site has the information you need just looks outdated and lacks graphics.

Re: let me know
Hi t,
I have to agree with Jeremy, your page looks like a portal to the early 90's! Don't fret, being your first stab at it, your doing fine. Maybe you should visit other pages by contractors and see what they're doing, find a few you like and use them as inspiration. Think about more text bragging on yourself (sell your business), photos of projects you have done, etc.
Definitely lose the paint bucket and brush at top, They convey to me that you are going to spill red paint all over my house!
Keep going, you'll get there!

Re: let me know
I would suggest a more polished look. When people are outlaying money for construction or painting, they want the confidence that you are serious about the job. Cartoon graphics don't convey that. For levity, you could put one small character on a more polished type site and that would be fine.
Also- one has to scroll down way too far to find out who you are and how to contact you.
Might want to consider providing some pictures of jobs you've done- shows confidence and lets the visitor see what scale of job you can handle.
Just a few thoughts. I would do as suggested above- vist a few other contractor / handyman websites and see what the competition is doing.
Cheers-
AndyPHP- is a blast!
