  • Can you have a look at my website! Need help!

    Hello!

Am just finishing off re-doing my site - all looks ok from my end, but people are telling me there are problems viewing the images, they come up as text - but only some.

Please help! What can you see? How do I fix it!

    Many thanks in advance

Sorry, I don't see the pictures either. I'm not to sure how to fix it, I think you have to save the pictures in a different platform.. Someone here will know.

Hi, ok in FF, but getting text on many of them in IE. its the file name of the image that is not liked with some browsers. IE:
      http://www .o-artgallery.com/Hannah%20Blunden.%20Shimmer,%20Oil%20on%20canvas%2 0120x150cm%20%A3500.jpg
wont be very good as you have comers & full stops in the image name. But!
      http://www.o-artgallery.com/Hannah-Blunden-Shimmer-Oil-0n-canvas.jpg will be ok
Need to rename your images & give them good tags as well. Will help a lot with the SE's if this is done correctly.

      Good luck.
      Regards Chris.

        Spacecat,

Collectors-info beat me to it. Your page works fine in FF but IE doesn't like the spaces in the file names. Need to replace the spaces with either a "-" or "_" that way it will display properly in IE.

Try the following: From the Vodahost website builder: 1.Click on the image icon to upload a file. 2.Browse to find the picture you want to upload (one at a time). 3.make sure your picture is in one of the following formats: GIF; JPEG. If not, you will need to save your pics in one of these formats before uploading them to your site. Good luck! Marcos.
