    Please review my site and let me know if I am headed in the right direction.....

    Hello.

    This is my first website and ,as I'm sure most of you know, it is extremely important to get outsiders opinions on what you are creating.

    Please take a look at my site and let me know ANY feedback that you may have.

    Thank you so much for your comments/concerns.

    Hello Joe

    I like the overall look of your site , easy to navigate and
    easy on the eye.

    Criticism:

    One ---centre your pages
    two--- you have your page set at 1220 (too wide)
    I would reduce it down to between 800 and 900,
    this will do away with the scrolling.
    As you will notice each time you click to another page
    you have to scroll the page across because it is almost out of view,
    this will really annoy a lot of people.

    Otherwise great job and welcome to Voda

        How do I make my email clickable? That is one thing I have had a tough time trying to figure it out.

        Thanks.

          To make email clickable:
          highlite your email address the click on
          INSERT on top task bar then click "LINK"
          in link type drop down click on mailto:
          then in url type your email address
          Make sure the mailto: is before your address
          then click OK
          your email should now be blue indicating it is a link

          PS: it is not wise to have your email a clickable link
          as this leaves you open to spammers, if you can design
          a form then this is a much beter method
          hope this helps

            If you want to have your email clickable but
            impossible for email crawlers to be able to
            find it (email crawlers are invisible software that searches
            websites and extracts email addresses)
            then use this code I have made for you:

            <script language="javascript">
            <!-- Hide from old browsers-->
            function scramble(){
            var p1,p2,p3,p4,p5,p6
            p1='<a href="mai'
            p2='ChefJoe'
            p3='">'
            p1+='lto:'
            p2+='@'
            p5='</a>'
            p6='Contact Chef Joe'
            p2+='LetsTalkChef.com'
            p4=p6
            document.write(p1+p2+p3+p4+p5)
            }
            scramble()
            //-->
            </script>

            simply insert where you want your email address to be
            on your page

              Hey Joe, great work, very simple and easy to get around... interesting way to present 'cheffing'... Not so sure about the search button, I searched pavlova and souvlaki and a new page came up with no results.... What? no results for pavlova?? Looks very professional.

                  Is anyone else having a problem with the page width and having to scroll to see the pages? Everything looks normal on my screen, but I am using a Laptop.

                  Thank you to everyone for your input. I really appreciate it. Kepp it coming!

                    Yes , too wide . need to scroll to right to view everything.
                    Why don't you reduce the width to 1000 max or less?

                      Hey I would look into a google search bar because you have a chance to make money on every search ..its fast and easy to set up..

                      also when it loads on my screen i have to scroll to the left before it becomes centered..
                      nice work..keep it up

                        Ok, thank you everyone for your replies. I fixed the homepage as well as the recipe page and in the "chef joe" page. Does the new width seem to work better for everyone?

                        Any other suggestions?

                        What does everyone think about using the google adsense search bar on a site like mine? Is it worth it?

                        Thank you to everyone who is taking the time to offer their opinions.

                          Hey, site looks great now, the changes have
                          vastly improved it.

                          Google Adsense is a matter of opinion, and you need to decide
                          on that issue.

                          Some will say use it some will say not to.

                          good luck with the site
