Hi, nice looking site with defiantly the right feel and colours. Couple of things that need a look at.
Pages need centring via page properties.
Need to reduce quite a few images to speed page loading up for 1st time visitors. (took about 30secs on my one)
Up to you? But using iframes is not very good for the SE,s finding you, as they cant read the content of the iframe. Also with you iframe slide bars being green in IE, they will show up as grey in many other browsers.
Thank you for comments!
How to reduce images? and so that it stay the same size?
And about the centering the pages: I tried to do so, but it looks really to much right on many computers and I put the page really well in the corner and so on..
How does it disturb, that the pages are not centered?
Greetings,
JM
JM,
Chris is right, I think your page size is too wide, it ahould be held to between 800 and 1000. then center. I almost missed the enter button.
Check the info on the bottom of Chris' reply, on resizing of pics.
Very nice site and well done, I am impressed.
Good Luck!!
Mike
Any excuse for non performance only weakens the charactor
Hi, i don't think you have checked the center in page box in page properties, as it would show up as a container when viewing the page source. IE:
div#container
{
width: 780px;
position: relative;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
text-align: left;
}
body
With the images, have a look at the links in the bottom of this thread.
Thank you really much for the comments! Is really important to know, how the site looks on other computers!
If I will publish the site just in the left side and not center that? would it be a good idea?Because if I center it in the page properties, then is even more to the right side...
look now to the index again and tell me- is it better idea to put the site this way?
Hi, Just for a sample! You entry pages is 900px at the widest part. (this is your background image). So make sure everything on your page starts from the far left of the BV screen. Now set the page width to 900px & tick the center in page box via page properties.
PREVIEW.
