feels good to publish your first page, lol, im green, I know :) Can someone take a peak at my home page I just published. I'm running into the following problems...

    1. The picture of me looks fine on my internet but when a friend pulled it up she said my face was over the words and couldn't read the words... but it looks fin on mine..??

    2. When I click over the buttons on the menu bar they should turn orange in color but to me they become suck in with an x box like my comupter doesnt recognize a picture.

thanks in advance, I really appreciate your help

    Hi Maya,
I pulled up your index page. Looks good. Be sure that your have "locked"
your picture on the page. It displayed on my monitor under the text.
make sure the text is "locked" also. Your menu bar turned orange for me with a pass over. Hope that helps. You are off to an excellent start!

Yes Maya, the text does over lap your picture in IE. Locking the elements keeps you from accidently moving them or deleting them not neccessarily making them display where you want them. The best thing to do is to look at them in diferent browsers and move things accordingly. Also on your menu bar at the bottomof the page, the text over laps the dividers. And none of your links work, I assume it is because you haven't published those pages yet.
      Good start.

You do need to correct your links on both NavBar and text menu at the bottom. You left off the (.com)

Hi, you will need also to keep an eye on your image sizes as its slowing the page down on 1st visit.

About 30kb each should be fine. They are at 1450kb for the 2 at the moment.
          Regards Chris.

Wow is right. I looked and everything looks good to me. Your hover over turns orange like you want but not all the way down but everything else looks perfect. Not sure if you wanted the green logo to overlap your banner but other then that GREAT job.
