Doc.. the difference between posting ads and FULL duplicate content of pages that are obviously copied is two different things in two different concepts or arenas. A blurb or an add or a line or two wouldnt harm you.. however if they post the same ad everywhere.. could harm them.. thats why when you link and advertise.. you link to different pages or content as the landing. Thats why..myself and others recommend strongly to optimize EACH page with its own keywords, meta and content.
