Latest site for review (prototype)

Hi everyone, take a look at the latest web site I am building for my brother. He will be hosting on VH as soon as he gets me the rest of the info I need, as well as originals of the pictures (these are some he had on his other web site and they are not sized correctly, poor quality and have cheesy frames). But you can give me input on the layout and such. Thanks

Hello Ed

On the home page the word photagraphy under LPM doesn't look too good, neither does 'capturing lifes precious moments' but I can see you havn't repeated this on the 'prices', 'contact' and 'link' pages which looks better although the word 'photography' (under LPM) needs shifting to the left or made smaller.

Portraits look great, but rather than have this page open in a new window, why not use an i-frame.

Yep..shift 'Photography' under the logo over to the left or make smaller as Darren says.. otherwise nice work.

Your brother also takes some very good portraits.

I used FF to look, the Y in Photography is behind the banner Capturing Precious Moments. What Darren said about the words not looking good, I think it's the font or some thing, they look like they were done in a small font and then stretched so they are pixelated..
Your nav links on the left,,,,,,If you line up the second and fourth ones then it might look better, they look a little off, unless you ment for them to be in a straight line, then they are way off.
On the links page the link name is right up under the title, you might want to move it a couple of spaces down.
The pics are great, it opened another page in my browser, some people don't like extra windows opening, because they already have toooooo many open.
Looks very good and will be a great site..........................

Thanks all I will check out those issues, as for the text it is an exotic style, I tried to make it a gif but for some reason it messed up yesturday (on-line) so I converted it back. As for the photos opening in another window it is because those are not the photos we will be using he is sending me the originals so there won't be those cheesy frames and I can size them all the same. Then I plan on having them open in an I-Frame within the site. Thanks All

About your site well that is beautiful one, you have a good taste to chose a well balance color of your site and the content much interesting...

Hi, looking good!
To me it feels like it could be compacted a little more. IE: there is a lot of space. (But this is just personal choice)
Would personally loose the VH banners for something like a text link. The Orange matches, but the rest is not very complimentary at all.
Would look at getting a link from the jalbum back to the main site. Was feeling a bit lost once this area was entered.

Hmmm... thats not a WEBSITE.. thats just a webpage on your site!!!

Thats why i stay out of here. ALL these PAID designers up for website reviews with only a TEST PAGE...

and we wonder why the noobs do it
