Looks professional and clean. It also looks very resourceful and abundant with information.

For some reason it took a while for me to load, not sure why. An excellent job, to say the least! =)

      Hylith,

Thanks for your comments. I agree that the site takes too long to load. I wonder if it is because of the BlueVoda templates I use. They seem to load in sections. Do you know of any tips to speed it up?

Well, maybe reducing the memory of the pictures (may need to reduce the quality).

You can do this by changing the format of the pictures like from .jpeg to .gif or .png. Sometimes huge pictures are shrunk but still have the amount of memory as the larger picture, fixing up many little pics like this can have a great effect on loading time.

          Not so!
Changing the format of a JPG image to a "Graphic Interface Format" (GIF) image will not only completely erase any acuity of an image by reducing it to 'line art' styled reproduction, it has nothing to do with reducing file size or "loading" issues. Same thing for PNG, which traditionally is used for images with a transparent background, and the only format that will support same.

Simply download and use the VodaHost-supplied free Pixresizer to properly size your images, or simply run images thru which will reduce the output file sizes automatically, and then re-save the images in the optimized formatting.

I had a look and the site, it is very well laid out and looks professional.
It took ages.....for it to load. I have had a look at the static photos and they do not seem to be that big, ABOUT 20-30 KBS. I don't think they are your problem.
