hi again you do not have to use viper guestbook if your having trouble i had trouble with it.
search the net under free guestbook script try and find one that that you can change to look like your site ie: colour text picture thats what i did and came up with guestbook on my info page.
the index question you asked : click veiw click page properties . under title pint the page name as you want to appear. save publish. job done.
sorry back again just been to your site big pink link now goes to a guestbook nice but i do not think you wanted that to happen.

Hi Alien Dude, thanks for coming back to my site. I am having problems with my e mail set up can you advise me please?
The pink area is still not right but im not sure how to correct it. I have removed the guest book, it was just causing me more problems and I must get my e mail sorted first. I just wanted to be able to click on the e mail address (link) and an e mail to pop up on the screen for customers to send to me.
Thank you for your help I really appreciate it.

hi first light pink area is it a image or frame as it only does it on index page

When inserting your link for email choose type of link - mailto from drop down list then type in your email addree
ie, admin@cakeswithadifference.net

hello again : the pink area is seems to be ok now i'm not get any link there. you must of fixed it when you removed the guestbook.
sent you email about your email problem sent it to address on your page.

Hello again Alien Dude, I think I will s**** that link, im just trying to work out my e mail link. I have just set up e mail in outlook express
admin@cakeswithadifference.net

On the add link to my page for the e mail address I will put in , do I have to put mailto or mail? and the address above.

if you are doing a text link as follows:

wright your text ie: email address then high light this text and click link on tool bar, click the link type drop down box click mailto:
you will now see that the URL box says mailto: now add the email address you wish to use ie: mailto:admin@cakeswithadifference.net click ok the text will now appear a different colour.
now click the preveiw button then click the link. ok

Hi Alison,

First off, I would like to say that you've done a great job with your site, and your cakes are amazing!

I would also like to add that when naming your navigational buttons, and your pages in page properties, you have the option of naming them anything you want. For example, right now, you have your home page navigational button named "index", but you can also name it "Home". The same goes for the page titles. (Page titles should not be confused with what you name your pages when you save them in BV. That has to remain "index")

Anyhoo, I totally understand how overwhelming it can be when you have so much information and so many things you're learning when working on your site! lol

Just take a deep breathe, relax, and go at it one project at a time. There is an unbelievable amount of information to be found if you browse through the forums, and lots of people willing to answer questions.
