your page looks good...took a quick look, links work.

Thank you! Understanding that I'm verrryyyy green...how do I reduce my page to 800 without doing them all over? I set the marker to 800 on the create page and I set the properties page to "center in browser" but it looks way off center to me now. thanks.

Its very hard to navigate in that page. hard to find anything. And maybe try to stick to only one design. Everypage is different

You can just make page " longer "! And then you will have much more space. keep it tidy

Sorry! But your pages are way to large in kb's for web use & very slow loading. They are averaging 6-8000kb & should be nearer 300 kb for this type of content.
Your page width is at1483px & would be better around 795 - 985.
              Regards Chris.

Re: Welcome to my very first and formidable website!

Just tried loading up the site.

The background on the home page took a while to load, when you click through to the links, as others have said, they take an age to load, and are too wide.

I personally wouldn't wait around for the pages to load... reduce each of the pictures file sizes down... a lot!

Great comments, but does anybody take the time to read anything but the first post?

Lavender asked in post#5 "is there a way to minimize my page size" after I had pointed out that it was too large. Two subsequent post indicating that the page is too large do absolutely nothing 2 help.

Chris, your post as always is right on target; except indicating 2 use the Using PIXresizer link at the bottom of ur post might have helped.
Use this link to reduce the size & the load time.

thanks everybody...i'm working to revise according to your wonderful advice (s).. i was looking for a lazy way out to rearrange my items on a smaller page...but i'm almost done the tedious way...btw...i love the pix resizer but i discovered if i delete the originals after i resize them...i lose them and they disappear from my web page..i think they call this a learning curve??? more like a roller coaster...;D

Not normally as you cant expect users to go through every single posting.
If another/different question is being asked 1/2 way through the thread, it should be asked via another new posting in the appropriate forum area. Many threads can be 20 postings plus long & i don't think many will read every post.
                      Regards Chris.

Hi, your page have far to many images on them for web use & taking ages to load. If your going to use the light box? You will have to break your pages down into more manageable size with maybe 6 to 10 images max per page.
The light box is for just a few images & not a gallery.
                          Regards Chris.

                            Hi Chris,
Thanks for the critique. Did you see my site since I revised it? I need the pics so may have to reduce the numbers per page. Further advice welcome.
