My first website attempt - any comments most welcome

Hi Everyone,www.innerharmony-cyprus.com is my first attempt at an information site for my wife's holistic therapies business. I would very much appreciate if someone had a critical look at it and let me know where I've gone wrong and what could be improved. Wishing everybody success and good health for 2011. Greetings from sunny Cyprus, Werner

    Hi Werner,
well, now here's a coincidence! (or not depending on your way of thinking lol)
I was just looking around for somewhere to stay in Cyprus for 3 weeks this June for my daughter's wedding when I thought I'd take a break & check the forums............
nice job - really! 1 or 2 little things though:

Home: your site address could be a tad higher - it overlaps the "balancing" text
Yoga Holidays: (& here am I VERY tempted lol) you have 7 'chakra-type' blue circles vertically at the bottom of the page....unfortunately they cover some rather important contact numbers/email addresses etc.!!!

    ...other than that super site!

(on a personal note: do you mind if I contact you via the innerharmony site?)
    good luck,
    david

oops, nearly forgot............just loved the shot of the German Shepherds watching "obediently" the cat stroll by lolol
Never measure the height of the mountain you're climbing. At the summit, look back and see how small it really is!

Hi David, thanks for your comments. Will look into the 2 issues you mentioned. Please contact me via the e-mail address in the site. If you let me know what type of accommodation you are looking for I may be able to recommend a place or two. By the way I'm based near Limassol. Regards, Werner

Good looking site with an appropriate theme. The only small thing i could see that needs some adjustment is things are moving around on the page on page transitions.
I can only suggest having 2 pages up on your screen & adjusting one of them to match.
        Regards Chris.

Hi Chris, many thanks for comment and suggestion. Will try to fix it. May it have something to to with the fact that I started each page from scratch instead of starting off with an empty template, safe it and use it as a basis for each page? Wishing you success in 2011. Regards, Werner

Correct in what you suggested. You can just make one page up with all the basics for every page & just clone it each time. I personally find Navals php way of making pages up a lot easier once you get used to it. It also allows you to change the main template page just once & all other pages will update with just that one page change.
Some more info on this here. http://www.metestsite.co.uk/BV-php.html
