I changed they pages on my site...

I decided that I needed to make a complete change on my site due to everyone telling me the backgrounds were too busy and making the text hard to read. Take a new look at it now and I would appreciate your opinions. I am still in the process of building the site so I am aware that it needs more content and am in the process of taking care of that. I hope you will follow along in the building process and let me know the pros and cons. Thanks in advance,

Very interesting and well done. Spent a lot of time enjoying the various links and offerings. I did have several text over laps: on the home page a little piece of artwork blocks the text that follows"I hope you will...." Move it back? On the next page (I think) your text runs into art that has a dark background - the text has the same shade and can't be read easily. I see a lot of over lapping on a lot of sites so wait for others to comment before you go about changing that which may not need changing.

        Hiya,

It is looking much easier on the eye. On your home page you have a row of three decals across the page, I think you need to move them back as they are covering some of the text. Well done it's a pretty site.

Thank you both DDS and Amanda, for you very helpful suggestions. I will do as you say and wait on others to see if they get the same problems. I also will take your advice DDS and check the text running into a dark background. I will look at the decals too, to see what can be done there. Once again, you are both very much appreciated for you input and thank you for the kind compliment on my site. I hope the rest of it, when done ,will also be given good reviews.

It's looking lovely, and the background enhances it now and makes it easier to read.

One problem, I could not scroll down the page, and couldn't see all the images at the bottom. Have you limited the screen size?

            Cheers

Re: I changed they pages on my site...

Thank you for the nice compliments, I think I like this better too, it was my original design, guess I should have stayed with it and let my creative side ease some! :)) Yes I guess I did limit it, I will change that, please let me know if it makes a difference. It could be also, that since I have to occasionally change the screen size for my Classes in Web Design, it might change the screen size on my site, I forget to change it back sometimes. I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it, Maybe not.
