Any views on my site?

Hi folks - my site is up and running, but I am not happy with it. Unfortunately, the folks I designed this for don't have a computer, and therefore have just left everything to me!
I would really appreciate some positive criticism to give me some ideas on where to go now - I am about to redesign it. (Well, it has been up for 3 weeks now!)
Oh yeah - the site is www.limebrook.com
I found Blue Voda amazingly easy to use as I have NEVER attempted anything like this before.

Its easy on the eyes and pleasant to look at. If I might make a tiny suggestion since you asked. Try making the buttons on the left smaller and giving yourself more space for the pics. I like the site though. Great job.

I understand having Google adsence as a source of income. (Very smart) But
the search box serves no purpose. I would get rid of it. All it does is take
people away from your site without giving you anything in return.

Thanks for all your comments. Very helpful - especially the search button tip! I will have to change the menu buttons anyway since the last version of BV changed the previously white corner to fuschia! Not quite in line with the rest of the colour scheme!

Any other hints gratefully received!

The support and encouragement from BV is absolutely great - confidence giving to a complete novice like me!
