Resized website could someone take a look please

the website is www.softwareeditorial.com i am pleased with what i have done but then found some were having to scroll across, so iahev spent many hours resizing i have learned a valuable lesson, for peace of mind is it better for those that have the resolution of 1024 by 768 ?

I have looked through most of the site and it all seems spot on except you haven't centred your pages.

the reason i have not done that is because i am concerned about the scrolling across problem

Much better Chris,
Still a very small bottom scroll bar on your index page, yet it all looks centred? Have a look of to the right of the page in BV index page & see if you may have a text or image item hidden. Sometimes worth changing the background colour to something dark just to check this. It will show up any problems you cant see.

I have done what you said , nothing else is lurking in the background and yet it still shows the scroll bar at the bottom

If your items will fit, try dropping you page down to 790 wide & save/publish.

I think i have cracked it, one of my affiliate banners was the problem i simply cut it and then pasted it back in again and that seems to have worked certainly it has my end, you of course could check to see whether you have the same result.

Still getting the bar at the bottom on your index page & have tried a few different settings at my end, but let others confer to make sure. One other small thing! (Oh no he says) The heading text has very jagged edges. This maybe if you have tried to reduce the size after you made up the text. May be better without the white & just having shadow only. Have a look at these two bits of software for logos & graphics software, they are both free to try & quite fun to use.

Oh well I guess its not a big problem after all there is nothing to scroll for at the bottom as everything has been centered, actually I already xara xtreme i covered this in one of my reviews , I find blue voda tends to compress the graphic after resizing within the program

Thank you all for the commendation and the constructive criticism, i must admit I have improved the web header by using the freeware pixresizer, and i must do that with all the box shots and other graphics this is sure to make it look even better in appearance.

You're right - the scroll bar still exists, but there is nothing that needs scrolling to.... Could it be that your background element is too large?

Things are looking lots better. Header text looks a lot softer now.
May have a broken link to your skype banners on a few pages.
