It looks lovely, and the pages loaded up really fast. The only snag I had was it took me a while to realise how to enter your site. It's a pretty 'button' but not too obvious. I had to sort of move around before I hit the link on the other buttons too. That was it though, the rest was absolutely beautiful. You should be proud you've built as gorgeous site that showcases your products perfectly.

So sorry that I haven't gotten back to you, just been swamped. Your site is beautiful, but some of your links are not working and I went to the same place as the guy above...the funny looking one!
Thanks everyone. I will double check the links. Sorry there are no fast cars, it's a pretty girly type site but thanks to all of you for taking time to look. Now back to the sewing machine!
Great site. I may have to come back to it and order my new granddaughter (to be) a quilt. I guess the only question I have is, where are you located. The only thing I could gather was that you are in the U.S. It may be beneficial to mention on your site a little about you. Are you actually making the quilts? How long have you been doing this? etc. Since I may be a potential customer, I guess I'd just like to know a little about who I would be buying from? Other than that, I love your site!!
Cindy
Hi Karen, I just looked at your site, you have done great, I feel like drinking tea now as I imagine sitting on a warm sofa covered with a handmade quilt.
Hi, great looking site but i agree with Amanda, you could do with a more highlighted entry link to the site. Saying that you could copy your menu bar to this area. One other small thing! It may be better to remove the ads on your front page as they detract from the good looks & theme you have created. (Sorry Vodahost & Quilt a round). You will also have visitors leaving before they have got through the front door & had a look around at all the other nice pages. Your business is more important than advertising for others; these types of ad’s can always be placed on the inside of the site. (Ha! Unless you have a finance agreement with vodahost we don’t know about?) Only joking!
Thank you Cindy, I am working on an "About Me" page, I agree people like to know who they are dealing with. By the way, baby quilts are my favorite!
Chris, your suggestion has been made to me by others, the ads should be moved.
Thank you to everyone for taking time to look at the site, this group is so supportive and helpful. I really appreciate it.

Karen-
I too, think that you could emphasize your site entry somehow....make it more compelling.
And, I would also (like you suggested) either put your favorite links on interior "About Us", "Links" or "Affiliate" pages.
Am I the only one who is having a hard time following the 'curl' of your links down and underneath the Links content?? >> I know you have your floral border on the left, but were it on the right your 'links' would naturally create a complimentary left margin, and the floral border on the right would be a natural 'boundry'. You could even resize it and rotate it to become a bottom border also!!
Otherwise, your use of recurring themes and comforting colors is perfect for your site. Kudos!!
Well, Cap, I was really kinda gently suggesting she move her floral left border to the right....then on her links page (and wherever else) her little link-buds could become her new "list" on the left.....The SE's really don't favor links being anywhere but on the left side of the page, and recognize right-column or mid-body link lists as "exit" or "non-relevancy".....hmmm.
And, if she copied/edited her border image and rotated it+resized it, she could have a page bottom border too!
Don't get me wrong! The colors are way cool, but I know how hard it is to keep important things visible in the initial display also.....visitors simply expect (like the SE's) to find them on the left.
