New one page website - almost complete

    Hi,
love to hear what you think. This is just to raise my profile as my business is really about me as a coach and I need to promote my name so thought this would help get it out there with some links to my other websites.
    Love some good constructive feedback.
    Cheers
    Tracy

Hi Tracy, Good 1 page presence, well laid out with just enough info.
Your photos make the point as well.

You might want to consider re-arranging your Title and Description as people
will not be searching on your name......

      Coach | Speaker | Presenter | Author

are all good keywords/content to start your title and description with.

btw: where is the 1st chapter of that book you mentioned !!!!
      Have fun
      Regards..... David

It looks good, you may want to center your page.

Agree with the advice to centre your page - also I saw the pics of you as golf coach and as presenter were darker than the other photos. I would suggest trying to get your photos to look the same brightness and contrast to add that degree of professionalism.

          Otherwise pretty good.

Site is clean.. easy to navigate, the only thing I see wrong ( in my opinion) is your contact info and I see a lot of people list contact info but I dont think its a good idea. I had a site.. got like 25,000 hits over 30 days and I made the mistake of using my e-mail out in the open...visable to every visitor..Needless to say I was spammed until i had to delete the e-mail address. I dont know how much traffic you get but but when your visitors increase expect the spam and dont be surprised to get a few phone calls from some one trying to sell you a calculator or a pencil or whatever it is that telemarketers sell. maybe try a contact form, then reply with your e-mail and phone rather than just giving it out on a page. there are companies that buy like 1000 e-mail addresses for $40 so ofcourse you are gonna have people build programs to sniff out emails to sale.. even the contact form isnt 100% proof, there are programs that sniff out e-mail hidden in the html of the contact form. but if you never plan on having mass traffic you may not have to worry about your info being traded around the net... thats just my opinion...and you know how opinions are.

Youve made a great start but before going any further can i suggest setting your page guidelines? as you have a sideways scroll ..if you click on the link below this will fix it...hope that helps

nice site... its a great start you have all the tools to add more pages when you like. if i may make a suggestion you may want to throw some google ads in there somewhere for extra $$$$$. never hurts :)

                      Thanks for the information.
Linda, I have set the grid line at 800 to see the dotted line - excellent feature. ALthough with my brwoser and screen I can easily see beyond that without having to scroll. DO you think the majority of people will need to see it a tan 800 width?

                        Copied from earlier post:

Definitely keep your overall width at 800...showcase to all those who have not reset their screen from the "out-of-the-box" settings.....It may be true that more people are regarding 1024 as the new standard, more than 72% of world-wide computers are still set at 800 and running at turbo-dialup.....
PS: It puts a little pressure on the creation of purer content, too..

Tracy ..like Vasili said ...most peoples screen resolution is set to 800 x600

Its really all about keeping the majority of people happy, my own screen is set to 800 but even if I had set higher I would still set my web pages to 800 ...no side scroll is a big plus ;o)

Nice job. I think you might want a begining quote or paragraph and to give an abstract of all the page content to grab your audience. Also counters are not good. They lead people to judge your site content by the number of visits. Awestats gives you that information anyway. Nice jod.
