What do you think about this site ?

I recently switched domains from Godaddy to VODAHOST . I enjoy Voda's ease of use and wonderful abilities to present graphics which under normal circumstances would have taken me through strains of copious scripts and endless HTMLs . However I seem to have difficulty changing my original domain address from GoDaddy to Vodahost. My original address with Godaddy is http://buckeyewebpages.com/ Right now my VODAHOST websites stem from numerically assigned address under which my sites are designed and published - for example - http://74.52.42.35/business3.html . What should I do to make it read like http://buckeyewebpages.com/business3.html Does anybody have similar problem ? I am supposed to have transferred my domain registration to VODAHOST. Any help will be appreciated.

Have you submitted a support ticket?

Also I think it takes a while for a transfer...there was thread on it earlier this week...I can't remeber where...if I remember or find it, I'll post here for you.

As for your site...looks good ecept the font size could be bigger for us myopic folks....I find it hard to see a script so small. I didn't have a chance to check all the links but the few random ones I clicked ...opened fine.

A little bit long in opening as you have a lot of info. There is also some overlapping especially with the Calssified section and a marquee running through it and covering part of your Classified box. Check the overlapping and probably a good idea to center your pages.

Hope that helps and I know others will be along to help out even more soon. Good Site though ...lots going on there and eye pleasing without being harsh.

    Good luck.

Re: What do you think about this site ?

      Transfers are free with VodaHost.....

In the meantime, you can login to your GD account, click on "My Account" (upper right, next to where you login), then lower left (in blue) click on Manage My Domains.....
Using your confirmation email from VodaHost (print it out so you can see this in front of you at the same time), after clicking on Manage My Domains, you should be at your "list" of domains with GoDaddy populate left side.....
simply click on the domain in question, and the panel to the right will populate.....mid-way down on right side will be the +DNS (Modify) >>> this is where you change the servers to "NS**.VODAHOST.COM" (**there are 2 nameservers to enter here....) which will then "point" to your VodaHost account and you will see your BV published website.

Then you can submit a ticket to have your domain transferred (which will take maybe 2-3 days), afterward you will need to re-configure your VH account.....

If in doubt, follow the tutorials....they are explicit and detailed for you!

      PS - Congratulations Major Bee!

The site looks very neat clean. I agree should possibly think about centering. The marquee is going extremely fast on home page. nice site, nice colors, seems to work.

Nice set up and colors. Text is very small. I had a very hard time reading text on some of the pages.

          Off to a great start.

          Cheers,
