OK folks, here it is at last. I would welcome comments and suggestions from those of you who know the area (any sites appropriate to exchange links??), and apologies in advance if I've got anything wrong!
Excellent and informative site. It makes me want to visit.
The only thing I would change is to resize your images to the size that they are viewed on the page.
I love Tucson - been too long since I was there. The site looks wonderful but I wondered why the Google ads aren't at least tied to travel? The ones while I was viewing were for laptop computers.

Great job!
What page was that on Bethers? I only noticed travel ads! Mind you, google has a mind of its own - on my Bearded Dragon site it mentioned baby bearded dragons and most of the ads turned by baby sites!
Thanks for the kind words! If it makes you want to visit Tucson again then I must have done something right!
I am sure you can find a whole bunch of local city, club, association, vivarium stores, school, hobby, etc. sites to post it on. And, even if he handed out some basic 'business cards' to allow friends the invitation to visit, it would increase metrics naturally too....this could even be a double-edged science project!
Well, I like it. The dragons site, that is. I guess that's the one we're supposed to see. :) Good colors and easy to manage layout. I didn't investigate it under a microscope, but I look forward to seeing more once it's added.
Fabulous looking website....but tut tut did you forget to set your page guidelines? ;o)...a big sideways scroll on each page here, love the colours, easy to read and navigate ...very nice ..well done

Oh dear, what a confusion! I was rushing to get everything done last night and as you can tell managed to publish the beardeddragons index page to the wrong folder! Silly mistake - be warned!
Can't do anything from work, but when I get home I will sort it all out! Thanks to all for checking - and I will let you know when Tucson is back on the map!
And to answer Vasili, yes, I do think Google ads are appropriate - when they work right with the content they give the visitor somewhere else to go. For example, on the true bearded dragon site they give details of where to get vivariums, reptile foods etc. If they are in context I think they add, not detract from the site.
Nice looking site. The dragons page pictures where a bit heavy to load, Could be a little smaller on the 1st one is at 250887 bytes. When you do the photo page, this may be worth a look. http://jalbum.net/
I saw the right site :) - and just looked again and the ads are now related to Tucson - so it must have been a fluke the first time.
I still love it - and still miss the area - am thinking of making AZ my winter home - it's AZ or TX - TX is winning out because my best friend lives there - but I LOVE AZ - Tucson and that area is wonderful.
