    Cpanel and Phpbb

I have installed phpbb in my Cpanel. I'm confused as to how to link it as a Web page in the Blue Voda Web site builder that I am using to build my site. Do I upload the files with Blue FTP or what?

    Thank you,

    Staci C.

When you were setting it up it should have asked you what you wanted to save it as. If you saved it as forums, go to yourdomain.com/forums and look at the very bottom. You will see an administrator button, it lets you do all of the configuring.

None of the configuring is done in Cpanel (for the forums anyway).

Yes, you can also do it that way.

I hope you figured it out.

Thank you for responses, next question please....

Yes, I figured it out. I left a field blank when I installed it the first time. When I reinstalled it I FILLED in the blank and now it works. It's working fine. Since I've got your attention. There is an updated version of phpbb, and Fantastico installs the older version. Is there an easy way for me to upgrade to the newer version? If not, I'll leave as is.

          Thank you,

          Staci

You will have to manually do it yourself.

If you don't know what your doing, I would just stay with the older version.
