Understanding Website Statistics
Hi Everyone
I am new at this.
All those pretty stats. They are great, but I started to get a little confused with some of them (if there are corelations etc) and I was wondering where I can learn more about what all the statistics mean and how they are calculated mainly the Host - Pages/Hits data for top 25 Hosts and last vistors.
For example when I look at my lastest vistor Host it says 39 pages (okay I get that. I know folks like to bop around my site!) and 498 hits and when I look at the summary of total hits for that day is 188. So I am not clear how the 498 was calculated. Is it a accumulated number for that host or something?
I can't seem to find any Help definitions anywhere, however I may have missed it.
Could someone kindly enlighten / direct me please.
