Password Directory ?

I've successfully completed the password protected directory. There will only be one page in the directory. However, when I log into the directory from my home page, an index page for the directory comes up. The index includes all a listing of all the elements on the web page as well as the web page itself. Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to just have the page come up without seeing the index of the directory?

No, this is normal. When you have a link from anywhere to a folder, pass protected or not, the index of all the folder content will appear.

Solution: create and publish in that folder, an "index" page (it must be called "index" all lowercase chrs, just as your site main index page) with a redirect to the page you want (the redirect is not necessary, but is useful)

If i understand your question correctly... In the control panel, there is an icon called redirects. There you type in the address that you want redirected and then you type in the address to be redirected to. then you choose whether it's permanent or temporary...
