    configuring e-mail client

I have tried to configure my outlook 2003 e-mail client using the settings provided. When I send myself a test message, I get an error message (several error messages) saying that it could locate the server but there was no response.

Then, naturally, it says timed out.

Please help! This has to function today.

If you were doing this on Outlook itself, go to the problems with setting up email forum.
Have just answered a similar problem

Your Service Provider may be blocking your SMTP. Try to find out if you require a special smtp.
