    Deleting a few pages?

Can someone tell me how to delete pages in my cpanel? There are a few that I made to see which I liked better but now I can't make them go away
    Thanks

It is easier to go thru your Blue FTP. Click on the file you want to delete and then click on the Red X to delete.

Ok well now I am going to be stupid, but the ones that I wish to remove aren't in there.

Have you refreshed your browser several times?...

Have you made sure the folder you are wanting to delete from is showing on the right?...

Not sure how many sites you have there,...as each site has its own folder, password-protected has its own folder and another index page, sub domains...the list can go on...

Don't delete folders, make sure to pick out the exact pages which will also show their extensions, like .html or .php.

If you want to delete images, make sure to get the exact name and extension of the image not needed...............my header has five versions of the image in cpanel and deleting any will cause some page of mine not to have a header.

My Staunch Advice for the cpanel is ...If YOU didn't name it, then DON'T delete it!

Deleting files from cpanel can be risky business...much safer to do from Blue Ftp............"fubar" (a reference from the American movie "Tango and Cash") is easily achieved by the unknowing and that includes me...fubar requires a total reset of your account and requires you to republish every page...as in like starting over...

I had to have my account reset due to a domain name change of my main account...but others have unknowingly caused their own demise by deleting files that they did not recognize.

You are looking in your public_html folder?
