    Installing in CPanel

    Hi,

    I'm having problems installing coppermine through my CP, it keeps failing...i think i must be putting in the wrong info , can you please tell me what i should be putting in the box where it says "install in directory"...and in the box that says "Admin access data"

    It's better if you install it in it's own directory, so type in "coppermine".

    In the Admin. access data you are required to enter a username and a password for the administrator, that is you. To make it easy to remember, put the same username and the same password you use for your control panel, otherwise you can have any other password and username.

      i still cant install anything, it says i have conflicting filenames and i have to manually delete these files?

      Path="home/password/public_html/

      What does it mean and what do i have to do?

        Since I can't see what you have in your site, for the moment i suggest you install it again under another directory. So when Fantastico asks for the directory to install coppermine to, simply type in "coppermine1". Attention: do not create the "coppermine1" directory manually. The installation wizard will create it for you.

          I dont have anything on it yet Naval ..i'm a newbie ....ok i'll try that ....but i think it has my doamin name in the directory box and i cant change that ...but i'll have another look cos i'nm not sure
