php file transfer in FTP

I have created a page and saved it as a php file. When I upload it, it shows up as .html file and not .php. Also, when I try to drag it from the left side of ftp to the right side, it doesn't transfer.

Where am I going wrong?

The original .html file would be found first if it's there.
so delete the .html file

When saving the php page, did you change the extension to php in the page properties box first ?

Bingo!!! I knew there was something I forgot because I've built a form with a php extension once. But it was a while ago so I just forgot to do that. Gettin' old... ;)
