can't log on to blue ftp

I can't log on to blue ftp. I have checked my user name, password, and server ip and get a 530 login authentication failed message every time. This is the first time I have tried to use blue ftp--I need to delete a page from my site.

Check that you have entered the same 3 set of details that you use to publish with.
Or go to your Cpanel file manager and delete it from there.............

I am using the same details that I publish with, but it doesn't work. Is there a way to delete the whole page from the cpanel file manager?

Or is there a problem with leaving it up?...I replaced it with a similar page, so the other pages don't link to it anymore, although it does link to my other pages. I thought that might not be ideal for SEO though to have it still published.

I gave you 2 options Debbie, use the file manager in cpanel and delete the page that you dont want.

and if the BV ftp is not working, consider downloading BV again.
(your data files will not be touched)
