  • Published mistake...help

    Hi,
I published one of my sites that I'm working on and it over wrote my current site.
My current site is suppose to be www.BrownBeanMachines.com

I was messing around and published www.TheTeaLocker.com and it over wrote BBM's
Should I open BBM in the BV editor and publish to overwrite again?

Do I need to open up another subscription for the Tea Locker to have it's own static site?
Of course I have it added in the CP already.

    Thanks,
    Randall

Yes.. republish the correct site.. then when you go to the second site.. make sure to change the publish path from public_html to

    public_html/thetealocker/

      Thank you Karen!

Maybe I'm putting the cart before the horse here?
When I changed it to public_html/thetealocker/ , I get an error 500 telling me, I cannot change it to public_html/thetealocker/ no such file or directory.

I think I may be missing a step? or something...

        Update to my last post...

I found that when I created the original file in the root directory, I used capital letters "TheTeaLocker". I changed the file name to lower case "thetealocker" and was able to publish the index page.
        After publishing the index page, this is the error that I get on the net when I try to call the site to the browser;
The requested URL / was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

        Any ideas?

          Update to the update...

I went and deleted the add on domain thetealocker
I then, went and added the domain again in the Control Panel, republished and that seem to do the trick.
I'm not sure what was causing the issue, but, everything is published and showing up on the web

One of those things I guess?

          Thanks for your help...
