    Backup/Restore Procedure

I want to make sure I understand the backup and restore procedure through cpanel. If you backup your home directory to your hard drive as a tar.gz file, do you get a working site back including images and links if you restore the tar.gz file using cpanel without having to republish the pages after the restore.

I am religious when it comes to backing up my bv files both locally and on a remote disk but I haven't been so good about doing the backup through cpanel and had to republish all pages after my site experienced some difficulties...

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. I did go through the tutorial previously but I wanted to make sure that additional publishing wasn't required which I couldn't confirm by the video....I'm assuming it's not since the structure would be intact....hopefully I won't need to use it but you never know.
