    Awstats compared to Google Analytics

I was wondering why are the results from Awstats considerably higher than those from Google Analytics. Awstats lists all the visitors, page numbers, time of day visited, etc., so it would seem to be reliable. Does anyone have any thoughts or info on that?

Re: Awstats compared to Google Analytics

Maybe Google is constantly evolving and changing their search rules. They need to maximise their income and also listen to the complaints of its users to remain No. 1.

They have huge competitions to contend with and they are learning that they cant Domainate the WWB to play accoding only to their rules.

They recently learned the hard way with China a market no company can do without.

I would rather use my own down to earth Awstat which is platonic with set rules in cPanel than think about what Google
    thinks.

As long as my website remains on Googles first page; is what I would target for.
