File Manager not displaying properly

When accessing File Manager on my control panel as normal to upload mp3 file to my site I am finding it is nolonger displaying the contents. If I attempt to upload using the Legacy File Manager I have no problems. Any ideas how to correct as I do prefer using the normal File Manager to the Legacy one.
